I decided to call my business “Symplicity” simply because that’s the way I stage (prepare) homes that are on the market.  It may be simply modern, contemporary, colonial, or even rustic, just so long as buyers are able to invision themselves there with their belongings.  If the house is clean, free of extra furniture, and decorated tastefully, it will show in the best light possible.  The difference is in decorating a home to sell rather than decorating for the owner.
   Colors, knick knacks,etc. that may appeal to the seller, may leave a negative impression on prospective buyers.  Staging a home is preparing it with the buyer in mind.
  Rooms need a focal point and furniture and accents to show it off to the greatest advantage.  Keeping the design and decor simple,  and with a theme, helps cut out distractions.   When your space makes a good impresssion, it will tend to stay in the memory lots longer than those that haven't made the impression.  (Try it!)

This is where my passion lies, creating a space that makes a LASTING IMPRESSION!
